As a part of a Christian community we believe that we are the "body of Christ."  What we mean is that we all have gifts, talents, abilities and that it takes all of us working together to realize God's vision for our Church.


Our vision is "we are a Faith community passionately seeking to follow Jesus in our time." In order to fulfill our vision we need, people to come together (community) to bring their God given gifts/talents/abilities to serve, help and lead in the various ministries and programs and "other focused" initiatives.

Involvement Opportunities

  • Community Garden: Faith’s Board has approved a community garden for the fenced space between the south side of the church and Adelaide Hoodless school. This will positively contribute to the community as well as beautify the church.
  • Children’s Programming: We’re excited to share that we have launched a new children’s program on Sundays! Kids aged 3+ are invited to join our wonderful volunteers for engaging faith-filled stories, activities, and crafts.
  • Coffee Hour: We’re seeking volunteers to assist with Coffee Hour! If you want to participate, kindly sign your name in the binder located in Dickenson Hall.
  • Food from Faith: Food from Faith supports Gore Park Community Outreach. We are always in need of volunteers & there are many jobs on different days of the week. Even if you can help occasionally, we would welcome you! The list of volunteer positions can be found in the bulletin, digest, or our bulletin boards.
  • Ushering: We are looking for Ushers! We need volunteers who meet and greet at the church entrances on Sundays to ensure newcomers and visitors don’t get lost. This dedicated group rotates on a monthly basis!
  • Library Book Reviews: Check out our Library down in Dickenson! We’re looking for people who’d like to assist with the weekly feature by composing a short review of a book from the library.
